Basic Mail system upgrade

On Saturday, April 9th, we will be performing an upgrade of our basic email system.  Because the basic email system is not as robust as our cloud based enterprise and exchange email systems, we are expecting an outage during this upgrade.  Our intention is to complete the project in a matter of a couple of hours.  We will begin the upgrade process around 6:00 am and intend to have the major portion completed before noon.  After the upgrade there may be occasional short outages for the remainder of the day as we fine tune and finalize settings and customizations to the system.

 

The benefit is that our basic email system will receive improvements in security, spam and antivirus controls as well as a facelift for the web interface.
