**Only set this up and configure it if UAC has to be enabled on a network for programs to work correctly**

Start

Run

gpedit.msc

Expand all drop down boxes.

Right Click on Group Policy Objects.

Say New Group Policy Object.

Create a new Group policy Object called UAC ENABLE.

In the Group Policy Editor window, browse to Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options.

In the right pane scroll to find the User Access Control policies (they're down at the bottom of the window). You need to configure the following policies:

User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for……

User Account Control: Detect application installations and……

User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin App……

Once the policy is created and configured.

Right click on the forest/domain and click Link existing group policy object.

Select the newly created Object.

Right click on the object. Link and Enforce.

Reboot all servers and workstations and everything should be good.
